Our story

Blumonic Publishing is an independent imprint rooted in Davie County, North Carolina — a quiet corner of the Piedmont where the dogwoods bloom each spring along every old fence row.

The dogwood is North Carolina's state flower, and it appears on every book we make. It's our small way of carrying a little of home out into the world.

We make bold and easy coloring books — thick lines, large open spaces, designs that are a pleasure to finish. Our grown-up titles are by Wren Davie, and our kids titles are by Birdie Davie.

Both lines share the same cozy cottage themes, so a grandmother and a grandchild can sit at the same table and color side by side — each in a book made for their hands.
